ACTING

Matthew Aldwin McGee has been performing since before he could remember. Raised by theatre parents, Matthew was exposed to the stage at an early age and quickly developed a love for the performing arts. In high school, Matthew starred in numerous plays, which only fueled his love of the arts even more. He went on to earn his BA in Theatre from CSU, Fresno, where he was nominated as a Dean's Medalist; competed in the American College Theatre Festival, where he was awarded the Best Classical Actor Award one year, as well as the Regional Finalist Winner the next. After receiving a 9 month fellowship with the Shakespeare Theatre Company while competing at the National American College Theatre Festival at the Kennedy Center, Matthew moved to the Washington, DC area, and has since made a full-time career out of the arts.

Comedy, drama, musicals, Shakespeare, theatre for young audiences, Matthew's done them all. A master at transformation, Matthew has been praised by the press (including the Washington Post) for his acting skills, and won a Helen Hayes Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2013.
